A little about you

Choose what feels closest. Face shapes are guides, never rules.

Optional profile saving is on this device only. Camera tracking maps features locally; it does not identify you or assess your skin tone.

Use what you already own.

Match the color family and finish, rather than a specific brand.

About the guidance, privacy & original inspiration

These optional styling suggestions are based on the features you select. There is no ideal face shape and any palette can be worn by anyone. The six reference portraits are AI-generated. Makeup masks follow landmarks detected separately on each reference, while camera guides are generated from detected facial landmarks in real time. These are educational color simulations, not facial measurements or calibrated product matches.

Face-shape blush suggestions draw on NYX Professional Makeup’s placement guide. For brand-specific foundation conventions, see MAC’s shade guide. Technique details and palettes are original educational suggestions, not endorsements.

Face tracking runs on your device using TensorFlow.js and MediaPipe face models. Camera frames and facial landmarks are not uploaded or stored. Your optional profile stays on your device. Saved looks use browser storage; clearing site data removes them. Downloads include reference portraits and selected settings, never camera images. Microphone access is not requested. Open-source tracking license.

Find your closest shape

Pull hair away from your face and look straight ahead. Compare forehead, cheekbones, jaw and length. Mixed shapes are common.

Choose a shade

Choose any color, regardless of skin depth or undertone. Swatches are illustrative; use cosmetics intended for the area you apply them.

Color names describe shade families, not retail products.

Find your eyelid placement

Look straight ahead with your eyes open and brows relaxed. Choose the closest starting point. This changes the makeup zones and blending, while your detected features stay in place.

These diagrams are simplified examples. Eyelids vary and can combine features; try the options with the camera and choose the placement you prefer. The app does not classify your eyelids automatically.

MOONLIT STUDIO · BETA 0.8.0

A little testing. A better beauty app.

Try this free web beta in your phone’s Safari or Chrome browser. No account or payment is needed. Your saved looks stay in this browser on this device.

  1. Make it yours. Choose your profile and compare the four eyelid placements. Try natural, pastel and neon looks, then change one shade.
  2. Test your mirror. Allow the front camera in even lighting. Move slowly, turn slightly, leave the frame and return. Check that guides follow your features and disappear without a face. Try glasses if you wear them.
  3. Try the controls. Change eyelid placement, hide lines, adjust intensity, freeze and resume. Turn Camera off; your phone’s camera indicator should turn off.
  4. Save and return. Save a look, reload, then reopen it from My collection. Try a placement chart download and the optional video export.
Camera or tracking trouble?

Open the link directly in Safari or Chrome, rather than an app’s embedded browser. Allow camera access in site settings. Wait for the tracking model to load, then look straight ahead with relaxed brows. If needed, tap Retry tracking. On older phones the mirror may update slowly. Reference practice works without a camera.

This is a web beta. Camera speed, alignment and exports still need real iPhone and Android testing. Video download support varies by browser. The app suggests placement; it does not automatically classify eyelids or match retail foundation shades.
